With Omega, car hire in New Zealand is easy, straightforward and stress-free. Once you’ve reached the arrivals area at Auckland Airport, phone us on 0800 221 122, and we’ll send an Omega representative to bring you to your very own car rental at our depot.
Our Auckland Airport Rental Car Depot
Our depot location is just five minutes from the airport terminal, at 3 Kingsford Smith Place, Mangere. Our car hire depot is open seven days a week, from 7 am to 5 pm.
Once you place your booking, we will confirm your car hire via email. Phone us when you’ve reached the arrivals area, and we’ll send a car rental service to collect you. When you collect your car hire, we’ll give you an information-packed New Zealand travel guide and a road atlas.
Picking up your Auckland Airport Rental Car
We offer our customers a complimentary shuttle bus from the domestic and international terminal to our car hire depot. Please email or phone us at least the day before collection, and we’ll organise the rest.
During regular office hours, phone us on our toll-free number once you’ve collected your bags. One of our Omega staff members will meet you at the airport terminal with our complimentary shuttle bus.
Auckland Airport Car Hire After Hours
Please phone or email in advance as we require you to pre-sign the contract. Please note that arrival outside usual office hours entails collection from the Park-n-Fly facility and incurs a NZ$46 car park exit fee.
We can also arrange rental car returns outside office hours; however, this will incur a $46 parking fee.
Auckland Airport Hotel Pickups
Omega Rental Cars can provide a pick-up service to and from selected hotels near the Auckland Airport domestic terminal, subject to availability. Our representative will bring you to our depot to pick up your hire car.
Please phone us to organise before the day of your rental car collection.

Dropping Off Your Rental Car
You can drop off and pick up our rental cars at the same location. Return to our Omega Car Rental Auckland Airport branch at 3 Kingsford Smith Place.
Please note that returning a car after hours incurs a $46 after hours parking fee. Please phone us in advance to organise.
