NZ trail running legends Malcolm and Sally Law* have set up and manage an awesome resource for anyone who loves to run and explore the fantastic trails New Zealand has to offer.
The Wild Things Trail Running Club is the hub of kiwi trail running - a place to be inspired, gain ideas and share information for the benefit of all. New Zealand is an outstanding place to trail run, but if you are new to the area or visiting on holiday it can be difficult to find out ‘what the locals know’ – where do I run?, how tough is the terrain?, what facilities can I expect? and so forth. This site is a veritable gold mine of such information!

Free membership gives you access to online resources including a comprehensive and continually evolving trail directory and trail running calendar. This gives you information and ideas for trails near you that you might like to try, plus details of trail running events throughout the country that you may like to enter.
A comprehensive trail directory that will inspire you to hit the trails near you!
An even greater treasure trove can be accessed by becoming a Wild Things VIP Member. Payment of a nominal annual fee grants you access to route maps and runner reviews for each trail. You also have the ability to purchase products at discount prices from the Wild Things online shop and access VIP member discounts from partner organisations such as Omega. You could even be in to win free or discounted entries to some of NZ’s very best trail running races.

* In February 2015 Running Wild’s founder Mal Law (with Sally running support operations) set off on what was dubbed “the most audacious feat of endurance ever attempted on New Zealand soil”. His goals were to climb 50 peaks & run the equivalent of 50 mountain marathons in just 50 days and raise $505,050 for the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand. If anyone knows a thing or two about NZ trail running its Malcolm and Sally, and Omega congratulates them on the establishment of this fantastic resource!
